Floodwall Murals
It may not be the most exciting thing
in the world, but it's certainly something new to most! Murals painted on the
concrete floodwall along the riverfront offer an in-depth, real-life overview
of the city's rich history. More than 50 life-sized murals offer a closer look
at everything Paducah has been through. Informational plaques are set near each
mural and provide more information about the city.
Historic Downtown
20 blocks of historic downtown space make Paducah a prime location for those looking to shop, dine, and learn. A variety of shops and restaurants offer something for everyone. Meanwhile, the area's historical significance is enough to interest visitors of all ages.
National Quilt Museum
of the United States
A museum full of quilts may not seem exciting to most, but some of the designs are absolute works of art. The National Quilt Museum of the United States works to educate the public and honor the quilt makers. Nearly 30,000 sq. ft. of gallery space make it the largest quilt museum in the world.
Skatepark
Those looking to get active, try something new, or both will find no better place than Paducah's skatepark in Noble Park. The area features concrete ramps for skaters and bicyclists alike. Make sure to wear your helmet!
Golf
Visitors looking to relax on a golf course can do so in Paducah. The Midtown Golf Course and Paxton Park Golf Course are open to the public.
Lloyd Tilghman House & Civil War Museum
The Lloyd Tilghman House was built in 1852 and was home to Gen. Lloyd Tilghman, who was involved in the War Between the States. Today, the Sons of Confederate Veterans own the house. You learn more about the war at the Civil War Museum and see how Americans once lived as you move through the house.

Bob Noble Park
Spend a day relaxing outside at Bob Noble Park. This 145-acre park features a skate park, tennis courts and a Junior Olympic-sized outdoor swimming pool. You can also hike along the Greenway Trail and have lunch inside the picnic shelters.

The River Discovery Center promises fun learning opportunities for children of all ages. This museum has interactive exhibits where your family can learn about rivers and the role they play in the environment.

Land Between the Lakes
Located on 170,000 acres, this National Recreation Area has lots to see. You can watch bison and elk roam in a native grassland habitat. Plus, you can spend the weekend here camping and going fishing, swimming and boating in the lakes.Â
