Established in 1830, Paducah, Kentucky has grown to become home to more than 24,000 residents. The city features a spot in the National Register of Historic Places thanks to its rich history. The lively, well-settled town features numerous interesting and exciting things to do all year round.

Floodwall Murals

It may not be the most exciting thing in the world, but it's certainly something new to most! Murals painted on the concrete floodwall along the riverfront offer an in-depth, real-life overview of the city's rich history. More than 50 life-sized murals offer a closer look at everything Paducah has been through. Informational plaques are set near each mural and provide more information about the city.

Historic Downtown

20 blocks of historic downtown space make Paducah a prime location for those looking to shop, dine, and learn. A variety of shops and restaurants offer something for everyone. Meanwhile, the area's historical significance is enough to interest visitors of all ages.

National Quilt Museum of the United States

A museum full of quilts may not seem exciting to most, but some of the designs are absolute works of art. The National Quilt Museum of the United States works to educate the public and honor the quilt makers. Nearly 30,000 sq. ft. of gallery space make it the largest quilt museum in the world.

Skatepark

Those looking to get active, try something new, or both will find no better place than Paducah's skatepark in Noble Park. The area features concrete ramps for skaters and bicyclists alike. Make sure to wear your helmet!

Golf

Visitors looking to relax on a golf course can do so in Paducah. The Midtown Golf Course and Paxton Park Golf Course are open to the public.
